Ordering is simple
you’ll need three simple measurements:
STEP 1
Width
Measure the distance between your upper cabinets. Your hood will be built to match this width or slightly wider if needed.
“If your opening space is 36”, keep in mind that your hood will measure 36” including the trim. You can also choose a model without trim.”
STEP 2
Height
Choose the hood height based on your ceiling height and preferred design. Taller ceilings typically require taller hoods.
Height depends primarily on your ceiling height and desired visual proportion.
For standard 8’ ceilings, hood heights typically range from 30” to 36”.
For 9’ ceilings: 36” to 42”.
For 10’ ceilings: 42” to 48”.
For taller ceilings, larger hood heights help maintain proper visual balance.
STEP 3
Depth
Depth depends on your cabinets and vent insert. Our team will guide you in choosing the perfect depth for your kitchen.
Some inserts may not work with curved or tapered designs.
Not all inserts are compatible with custom hoods —
built-in inserts are required, while
under-cabinet units are not designed for this purpose
